Today is Memorial Day. We didn't do too much, but my hubby did grill some amazing burgers and hot dogs on his Weber grill. Enjoy! (I sure did :)

My New Camera!

Well, I finally bought myself a new camera. I got the Nikon D3000 (supposedly the easiest transition from point and click to DSLR). I am totally in love with it!!! RARELY do I ever get the "itch" to buy something new, but I have been wanting this camera so badly for so long! I was very tired of missing great shots of Lucy and life because of my stupid slow camera. Now, I have arrived! Watch out world of photography...here I come!

I have two lovely friends who do photography blogs. Each does a photo a day. That is now my goal for the summer. I am going to get out and take at least one cool photo for the blog during each of my 72 days off. I am already one day behind. Oops. Does it count if I just got my camera though?

Here is day #1:
